Twilight Times Publications Issue No. 16
News
Twilight Times Books
Twilight Times Books was established January 1999 as an Internet epublisher. In 2004, we expanded our operations and evolved into a small trade publisher. Due to an exceptional front list of books, all with four star reviews, the print division of Twilight Times Books launched twenty-one titles in trade paperback in 2004. Over sixty titles are currently in print and we plan to release fourteen titles in 2008.
TT Books is a traditional small trade publisher. By traditional we mean our books have national distribution and the author pays nothing for publication of his/her book. We currently publish literary works that are exemplary, that transcend genres and/or are beautifully written. We are highly selective as to what we will accept for publication.
Our books are distributed internationally through BCH and Florida Academic Press (FAP Books, Inc.). Members of the media, booksellers and retails can download flyers, sell sheets, reviews and chapter excerpts from our media room.

Reviewer comments: Author Profile: Anne K. Edwards enjoys writing in various genres and experimenting with new ideas for stories. She likes writing mystery novels, children's stories about the misadventures of a dragon named Elvis and the little boy named Jeremy who outwits him. Anne also writes short stories about Death and the Detective that are published occasionally in an online mystery ezine. ~~**~~ Touch of Fate, paranormal mystery by Christine Amsden; trade paperback. Promo blurb: Marianne has long been able to predict the future, but is powerless to alter its course. With the help of Detective Derek Richards, she must find the murderer before the murderer finds her.
Reviewer comments: Author Profile: Christine Amsden was born and raised in the St. Louis area, which inspired the setting for her first novel, Touch of Fate. She started writing shortly after learning to pick up a pencil, and though she majored in Computer Science and Psychology in college, she never lost her love of the written word. She writes more fantasy and science fiction than anything else, but hopes to make these genres accessible to everyone by portraying characters anyone can relate to. ~~**~~ Tremolo: cry of the loon, mystery by Aaron Lazar; trade paperback. Promo blurb: In this coming-of-age story set in the Belgrade Lakes of Maine, young Gus LeGarde witnesses a girl being chased through the foggy Maine woods. She's scared. She's hurt. And she disappears. Tremolo is a stirring and nostalgic trip back to the summer of 1964 when Gus faces his deepest fears while solving a baffling mystery.
Reviewer comments: Author Profile: After writing in the early morning hours, Aaron Lazar works as an electrophotographic engineer in Rochester, New York. Additional passions include vegetable, fruit, and flower gardening; preparing large family feasts; photographing his family, gardens, and the breathtakingly beautiful Genesee Valley; cross-country skiing across the rolling hills; playing a distinctly amateur level of piano, and spending "time" with the French Impressionists whenever possible.
